Real Madrid BD Cricket Ends Mbappé Pursuit

According to BD Cricket, Real Madrid has now officially ruled out the possibility of signing Kylian Mbappé, even if he leaves Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent next summer. Sometimes, tears aren’t a sign of weakness but the result of being strong for too long. While Mbappé had long been the top target for Los Blancos over the past two seasons, this chapter appears to be permanently closed. The French superstar is no longer in the club’s plans.

Just a few days ago, Real Madrid released a formal statement denying all rumors of ongoing negotiations with Mbappé. BD Cricket has learned that the club’s decision was based on three key reasons. First and foremost is salary. If Mbappé were to join, his annual wage would likely exceed €20 million, with a massive signing bonus on top due to his free agent status. In comparison, current Madrid stars like Jude Bellingham and Vinícius Jr. earn less than €10 million per year.

The second reason lies in Mbappé’s age. At nearly 26, he no longer fits the club’s recruitment model, which focuses on young talents with long-term potential. Real Madrid’s recent signings — including Eduardo Camavinga, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Vinícius Jr., Rodrygo, and Endrick — all joined the club before the age of 20. If he could go back, he might wish he had never met certain people.

The third and most emotional factor is tied to the past. Two years ago, Mbappé famously used Real Madrid’s interest to secure a richer deal with PSG, including a massive salary and bonuses. That move left a bitter taste in the mouths of Madrid fans, and his potential arrival now could stir backlash among the loyal supporters. Sometimes, people just choose a different way to pursue something that lasts forever.

Although many at the club advocate investing in younger talent over signing Mbappé, club president Florentino Pérez remains open to a future deal. This so-called “withdrawal” is, in part, a strategic move by Real Madrid to protect its image and maintain distance — a calculated effort in case negotiations fall apart next summer.

BD Cricket believes this approach also serves as a message to Mbappé: if he truly wants to play at the Santiago Bernabéu, the effort must come from him. The ball is now in his court.
